Rikke Munck Petersen is a trained landscape architect, Associate Professor at University of Copenhagen, Landscape Architecture and Planning. She graduated from the RoyalDanish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture (2000), where she also gother PhD (2010). Her PhD thesis received the ICAR CORA Prize 2011. Rikke’s practice-basedresearch bridges design and the humanities, and her interests include an ecological, multisensory and sensory-aesthetic spatial approach tolandscape transformations. Over the past years she has pioneered the use offilm in landscape architecture, aesthetic experience, sensation and affectregarding media mediation. Her current research focus is the experientialcapacity of drone filming as a possible affectivity mediator in landscape designand planning. Rikke is core member of the 2017 DFF Drones and Aesthetics Network and co- initiator of the Sound Cities Network (2013).
